Lotus Notes: How to send an opened document

You have an important document which you need some personel to verify it. Unfortunately when sending the document link to them, they have no authority to open the link. They seems to have no authorisation for that particular document, but yet you insisted to let them to have a look.
Well, in this case, you need not go through all the hassles of getting some admins to grant them access. If they only require reader access, I would suggest if you forward the document to them via your email account.

To do that, you may use the button as shown in the below screenshot. As easy as that!

How to Manually Import Outlook Contacts into Notes PAB

Exporting Outlook contacts to Excel File
File -> Import and Export
Export to a File -> Next
Microsoft Excel -> Next
Click on Map Custom Fields -> Next
Click on Map Default -> OK
Highlight Contacts folder -> Next
Select where to save the exported file
Click on Finish

Prepare your Excel file for importing
Open the Excel file you just created
Highlight the entire row with the contact headers (Name, Title, etc.)
Press the delete key
Open the Excel spreadsheet included with this document
Highlight the entire row with the contact headers.
Copy the headers
Go back to your original Excel file
Paste the new headers into the now empty top row
File -> Save As
In the “Save as type” box, choose "WK4 (1-2-3) (*.wk4)"
Create a name, and save and close the document
(click yes when you get the warning that it is not compatible)

Import the .Wk4 document into Lotus Notes
Go into your Personal Address Book in Notes
File -> Import
Browse to find the .wk4 file you just created with the following options:
- Use "Form Business Card" (or "Contact" if using R5)
- WKS Title Defined
- Calculate fields on form during import
Click OK and the files should be successfully imported.

Known Issues: If there are any birthday or anniversary fields filled out, delete these rows before importing into Notes. Notes and Outlook use different time/date formats, which will result in an error during import.
If you get an error that you cannot locate the form, be sure that you have not selected “Contacts” rather than “Contact” in R5.
