Notes error: You do not have a mail file/server specified

Emails cannot be sent out when triggered from web. Error returns when trying to send email from web.

Notes error: You do not have a mail file/server specified. Use File Mobile - Edit Current Location...to set them.

Explaination: The error "...You do not have a mail file/server specified..." has been typically found to occur because the MailServer parameter in the server's Notes.ini is found to be reset to a null entry, for example: "MailServer=". This has been observed in cases where the Domino server has been running for a long period of time without being restarted.
Solution: Include this line in notes.ini and restart the server.

1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte

Kilo is the SI prefix for 1,000. Engineers have always used it as such.

Computer engineers took the shortcut that 1024 (2^10) was close to 1000, so decreed that in terms of computer memory, 1 kilobyte was 1024 bytes.

Sometimes the difference is important, especially when you are working out if you can fit your program onto a disk for example. So, be precise!

Lotus Notes: Cannot Open Web Navigator database

If you can't open certain e-mail in Lotus Notes (ones with weblinks, or web based pictures), and you get an error message about "Cannot Open Web Navigator database", or "Web Navigator Retrieval Process is not Running".

Try the following:

File - Mobile - Edit Current Location

Set Internet Browser to Notes

Change "Retrieve Open Pages" to "from Notes workstation"

Save and Close

File - Mobile - Edit Current Location

Set Internet Browser back to Microsoft Internet Explorer

Save and Close.

I have tried this before and it works!
