Unable to Create a Folder named CON

Try to create a folder name “CON” or “con”… and see what is happening if your PC platform are windows.
Feeling curious, I start googling for explaination...and found that there are a lot of words unable to create such as:

The reason is those name are reserved for ‘DOS’ device names…
There also some tips and trick to create this kind of folder, just open a MS-DOS
to create type -> md c:\con\
to delete type -> rd c:\con\

If the folder already exist, you will have problem in renaming it, once i rename it, it shows “error renaming file or folder”

I found that when we create any picture such as jpeg or bmp file with CON as the file name, it also shows error, below are the error when i try to save the jpg file as CON.

Well, this is just some tips and trick to create the folder name CON and also PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.

Run Out of Disk Space: How to do a Quick Clean-Up

While most of us know how to uninstall applications, but at most times, when you were busy with tasks and suddenly you got some message like "Your disk space is running low", you have no choice but to urgently clean-up your disk.
Many of times, I bumped into this trouble. Running on low disk space completely put my work into halt as I could not proceed with certain useful functions (such as copy-paste).

Well, the below steps will show you on the quick and easy way to clean up your disk space.

1. First, right click on the selected disk, and go to Properties.

2. Select Disk Cleanup under General Tab.

3. Finally, choose the files that you would like to delete. Click OK after done.

iNotes Login: How to solve Certification Problem in IE7?

1. When login to Lotus Web Access, the below error page will be displayed if you are using Internet Explorer version7.0
2. To solve it, you may follow the steps as shown below. Firstly, click on the Certificate Error link.

3. You will see the below prompt box. Click on the View certificate link.

4. Another window prompt. Click Next button.

5. Choose the second option as below. Click Browse button.

6. Select the below folder, then click OK button.

7. Click Next button on below window.
8. Click Finish button.
9. Select Yes button to install the certificate.

10. Finally, you will see the below window indicating that the certificate import was successful. Click OK button.
11. Following that, close your IE 7 and re-launch. Browse at lotus web access. If you are still getting the certificate error page, click on the Certificate Error link. At the window prompt box, click Certificate Path tab, you will notice that there is a cross mark at Certificate Authority. Highlight the Certificate Authority, click View Certificate button. Repeat step 4 to 10 again.
